My practice begins with curiosity, observation, and experimentation. I explore materials and techniques through making, allowing the process to involve both enjoyment and frustration, discovery and uncertainty. I believe in the process as a way of learning and developing ideas through experience.
Work often begins with something that comes from my imagination, interests, or personal preoccupations. When I recognize a similar system, structure, rhythm, or relationship in my surroundings, it becomes a point of departure — a trigger for further exploration.
Through this process of observing, experimenting, and making, I gradually materialize ideas and discover new possibilities.
